Matchitecture, or match-modeling kits, are a new development in the world of match-modelling. Gone are the traditional cardboard formers. Instead, you have a set of paper plans that you place beneath the protective clear sheet on the building board and then assemble micro beams. When all subassemblies have been built, simply join them together to create your match masterpiece.
The ivory-white marble mausoleum in the Indian city of Agra was commissioned in 1632 by emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife. This 43cm/17 inch tall model has 7500 microbeams. Simply cut and glue the MICROBEAMS together according to the plans then assembled to create a 3D design.
